Two exhibition Twenty20 matches between a World XI and Pakistan Stars XI ran into trouble after the International Cricket Council objected to the visiting team`s name, forcing the organisers to rename the side.
The Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Zaka Ashraf has announced that there will be a special award for Saeed Ajmal after he comes back from the ICC World Twenty20. The PCB has stated that it will be a compensation for Saeed Ajmal for his name being controversially omitted from the short list of the ICC Test Player of the Year.
In what could be nothing more than day dreaming, the Pakistan Cricket Board is likely to send an invitation for the Indian players to take part in their inaugural Pakistan Premier League (PPL). This has been confirmed by none other than the PCB Chief Zaka Ashraf as per various news sources.
PCB's governing council, told a press conference that he had signed a deal with a US-based company Xtreme Sports to host a World XI vs Pakistan XI T20 matches at the National Stadium here on May 25 and 26.
