Over 0.3 Sachithra Senanayake to AN Cook,  out Lbw!!  This was pushed through quicker and on the middle-stump line, Cook went a long way across as he looked to flick and missed. The leg-stump was visible, and the ball would have crashed into it. Umpire Martinesz lifts the dreaded finger.ook lbw b Senanayake 1(2)

KumarSangakkara (speaks to the crowd): It's great to be brought up in Kandy and have played all my school cricket with my friends. To play one of my last matches in Sri Lanka is special. Thankful to my parents, my friends, my sisters, who came all the way from Colombo. Thankful to all the fans, you have been a part of this memorable journey, right from my school days. Thanks for all the support and all the love shown to me. A big thank you to my team-mates as well.'
Kumar Sangakkara is the Man of the Match
Angelo Mathews: 'It was a brilliant game, challenging conditions to bat at the start. Sangakkara was outstanding, he is getting better with age. Dilshan was an ideal partner. Mahela has been batting at number four and has done well. We asked him to open and he did it for the team. It was actually unfair on him. We were excellent with the ball and got it to spin. It's tough to replace Sangakkara and Mahela, they have done a lot for the country and we want them to go on a high. We will make a few changes for the final match.'
Alastair Cook: It was a real tough day. We bowled pretty well upfront. I dropped Sangakkara on 41 and that turned out to be the turning point. We put them under pressure, we knew they would come hard at us. Kumar (Sangakkara) is a class act. He is a real legend of our game. I need to lead from the front. I have done it before and need to go back to the basics. Looking forward to a good match at Colombo.
