Over 4.1 MG Johnson bowls a short and rising delivery to S Dhawan, FOUR, pacy ball around the rib cage and Dhawan gloves his pull to fine leg for a boundary. And rain has stopped play at Ranchi for the second time today.
Update at 8:43 PM IST: The Umpires have abandoned the match due to wet ground conditions. So the 7-match series stays in favour of the Aussies 2-1 with the fifth ODI to be played at Cuttack on the 26th.
Update at 8:30 PM IST: There is going to be an Umpires' inspection now. So it should reveal whether we will have any more play or not very shortly.
Update at 7:46 PM IST: The covers have collected plenty of water due to the heavy downpour. We are running out of time for even a 20-over contest which needs to begin by 9:10 PM. Another 15.5 overs in the Indian innings need to be squeezed out to constitute a proper game.
Update at 6:59 PM: I am afraid the rain has only got heavier at Ranchi, chances of a resumption for now very bleak!
