Bangladesh will face Scotland in the second match of the T20 World Cup 2021 at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground on Sunday. This will be second match of the day in Group B of Round 1. Oman and Papua New Guinea will face off in the T20 World Cup 2021 opener.

Bangladesh went down in both their warm-up matches. Their first game was against Sri Lanka. Batting first, they posted only 147 for 7 on the board in their 20 overs. The Sri Lanka chased down the target with four wickets in 19 overs.

Next, Bangladesh took on Ireland in their second warm-up game. Ireland put up 177 for 3 in their 20 overs as Gareth Delany scored an unbeaten 88 off 50. Bangladesh folded up for 144 in response. Only Soumya Sarkar and Nurul Hasan with 37 and 38 runs respectively put up a fight.
