Tillakaratne Dilshan is the Man of the Match for his century. The only bad news is that he has strained his hamstring and is doubtful for tomorrow's back-to-back game against India.
This match has pointed out that the teams winning the toss will field first as the dew is just out of control at this venue. It arrived in the 8th over of the Lankan innings itself. The team that wins the toss will have a huge advantage in the coming six games.
Not a bad show at all from Bangladesh. They got off to an excellent start from which they slipped but recovered in the end to put on 260. Ashraful wasn't at his best but scratched around to top score with 75. Naeem Islam was the star in the end but batted way too down the order.
Well it was an easy win for Sri Lanka chasing the target of 261 with 31 balls to spare. Dilshan has struck his sixth ODI hundred to guide them home while Sangakkara stroked his way to 74. The Bangladeshi bowling failed to create any impression at all and with the dew coming into play very early, there was no chance for the spin-oriented attack.
