Current Partnership: 173 runs, 17.1 overs, RR: 10.08 (J Kallis, AB de Villiers )
AB de Villiers for his breezy unbeaten century has been named as the Man of the Match. And the Man of the Series is the only double centurion in the history of ODI Cricket and that is the legend Sachin Tendulkar.
Got to say that it wasn't a bad show from the young Indian batting line-up. To reduce the margin of defeat to 90 runs and come up with 275 was a decent effort. Lots of positives were there and it was just that the young guns couldn't last long enough!
So that brings us to an end to this South Africa's Tour of India. South Africa have won the last ODI having put up a strong batting performance on what was yet another batsman-oriented pitch. They piled up 365 courtesy of Kallis and AB de Villiers and also the strong opening stand between Amla and Bosman. The Indian bowling was a 'help yourself attack' with nione of the bowlers even beating the bat all afternoon!
Over 44.3: He is Caught! L Tsotsobe to R Jadeja, bangs it short, edges his cut shot to Boucher and that's the end of the night at Ahmedabad! South Africa win by 90 runs and India win the 3-ODI Series 2-1.
Over 44.2: No runs. L Tsotsobe to R Jadeja, pitched up delivery, flicks the yorker to short fine leg.
Over 44.1: No runs. L Tsotsobe to R Jadeja, half volley, opens the face and drives it to backward point.
