An all-round team effort saw Warriors from South Africa defeat South Australia by a comprehensive margin of 30 runs in the 2nd Semi Final at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. Led by Skipper Davey Jacobs' 61 (from 41 balls with 10 fours and a six) and Colin Ingram's 46 (from 35 balls), Warriors batting first after winning the toss put on a par total of 175 for 6. South Australia lost their key batsmen early in the chase to be restricted to 145 for 7. The victory margin could come down to that extent only because of a lone man fighting knock of 71 from 49 balls by middle order batsman Callum Ferguson.

Warriors were well placed at 105 for 2 in 12 overs but lost their way in the middle overs with the slightly older ball gripping the dry surface. They were lucky to get a rich last over which went for 23 runs from Daniel Christian that really took them to a good total. Nicky Boje played a vital cameo of 22 not out from 7 balls. For South Australia, medium pacer Daniel Harris did well again to pick up 3 for 18 in 4 overs.

With the ball, Warriors were very good with left arm quick Lonwabo Tsotsobe finishing with 2 for 16 in 4 overs. Boje and Botha did well to strangle the batsmen with their variation in flight and speeds while Juan Theron got his yorkers right to keep South Australia in a check. Davey Jacobs got the Man of the Match and his team will face Chennai Super Kings in the Final tomorrow.
