AB de Villiers: I am just as happy as the first win. I was actually thinking of coming back for two. It was one of those awkward dismissals. I was very happy with the way we recovered after that. The bowling was spot on from the world go. I am very happy for Parny, who did well with both the bat and ball. I felt the total was enough, with the bowling attack we had. The top order failed but we still posted a good total. It was definitely not par though. I was not doing the talking. Hash and Faf did that. There might be a few changes. Hash has played a lot of games. Rille Rossouw is a great talent. Marchant de Lange is also there. Definitely a couple of changes here and there but we want to win the final one as well.
Chigumbura: Very happy. It was a special effort to restrict South Africa to 257. I could not have asked for more. The batting was criminal. It was disappointing from the batting group. The main thing was keeping wickets in hand. The fact that we lost too early wickets made it difficult for us to pull it back. Williams played well but did not get the support. This is the last chance in this series to play well. Hopefully, we improve on what we have done. |
