Despite some ordinary bowling performances in the First three ODIs against Australia, the Selectors have retained the same squad for the remainder of the 7-match series. Ishant Sharma and R Ashwin, who should have been dropped owing to their terrible bowling so far have been retained quite surprisingly. While Ishant lost the 3rd ODI for India by conceding 30 runs in one over, Ashwin has struggled to land the ball on proper lengths.
India has three unused bowlers in its squad which includes leggie Amit Mishra and the fast bowling duo of Jaydev Unadkat and Mohammad Shami. These three are likely to play in the 4th ODI at Ranchi which is on the 23rd.
