Saurashtra finished the opening day’s play of its Ranji Semi Final against Punjab at 274 for 5. The Semi Final match between the two teams is being played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot which had recently hosted the India-England First ODI.

Saurashtra finished the opening day’s play of its Ranji Semi Final against Punjab at 274 for 5. The Semi Final match between the two teams is being played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot which had recently hosted the India-England First ODI.

Scoring runs for Saurashtra were Skipper Jaydev Shah with 87 (from 123 balls with 16 fours and a six) and Sheldon Jackson with an unbeaten 70 (from 137 balls with 10 fours and a six). Shitanshu Kotak in the role of an opener scored 54 (from 128 balls with 9 fours).

For Punjab, pacer Siddharth Kaul took two wickets while Harbhajan Singh, who is hoping of a Test comeback could only take one wicket.
