Live Scorecard

Plunket, Topley and Sam Billings star as England beat Pakistan by 14 runs.

Sam Billings is the Man of the Match for his 25-ball 53. He equalled Paul Collingwood's record for the second-fastest fifty by an Englishman in a T20I (off just 24 balls).

England will be mighty pleased with their total on the board, considering that they were reeling at 19/3 at one stage. It was the 76-run partnership between the debutant, James Vince and skipper Eoin Morgan that lifted them out of trouble. Even though Vince failed to go on and make his maiden T20I fifty, Sam Billings came out and assaulted the Pakistan bowlers at will. He now has the joint-second fastest fifty by an Englishman in T20Is.

Afridi: 'I think I am happy to bowl first. There was a bit of rain around, the wicket was covered for a few days. So, we think we can use that. We have got some very talented cricketers, our bench is very strong. This is an opportunity for the youngsters to perform and there are a few spots open for the World T20. Shazad is not feeling well. Shoaib Malik is injured. Rafatullah Mohmand will make his debut.'

Morgan: 'We are going to bat first. The track looks decent. We played on some very good wickets and the wicket here was the best for the ODI series. Today, there is a fantastic opportunity for the guys to make an impression for the World T20. James Vince will make his debut today.'

Pitch Report: 'There are a few more cracks on this pitch. The grass resembles straw colour. This pitch should aid the spinners more. I think you can still play your shots here, but it will definitely turn a bit,' reckons Nick Knight
