Australia demolished minnows Scotland by a massive margin of 200 runs in their Only ODI at Edinburgh on Tuesday. Openers Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh toyed the Scottish attack to score big centuries. Finch, who is fresh from a brutal score of 156 in a T20I against England recently, made best use of his form to smash 148 in 116 balls with 16 fours and 7 sixes. Finch had every opportunity to become only the third player after Tendulkar and Sehwag to score an ODI double century but he got out with less than 12 overs left in the innings.

Shaun Marsh batted almost the entire innings to score 151 from 149 balls with 16 fours and 5 sixes. Shane Watson at no.3 scored a 24-ball 37. Australia finished with 362 for 3 in 50 overs after being asked to bat first.

Scotland in reply folded meekly to 162 all out in 43.5 overs with Mitchell Johnson taking four wickets. For the Aussies, Pakistan-born leggie Fawad Ahmed made his ODI Debut and ended up with respectable figures of 10-0-39-1.
