Cheteshwar Pujara led India A to tour West Indies in June

An India A side will be touring the Caribbean to play 3 Unofficial Tests, 2 Unofficial T20Is and 3 Unofficial ODIs against West Indies A. Middle order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, who missed out most of the Indian Domestic season with a knee injury will be leading India A.

An India A side will be touring the Caribbean to play 3 Unofficial Tests, 2 Unofficial T20Is and 3 Unofficial ODIs against West Indies A. Middle order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, who missed out most of the Indian Domestic season with a knee injury will be leading India A. Pujara did feature in the IPL for the Royal Challengers Bangalore but was mostly confined to the dug-out as a reserve player.

The Vice-Captain of the India A team is going to be Wicket Keeper Wriddhiman Saha. The other big players of India A include Abhinav Mukund, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Manoj Tiwary amongst the batsmen apart from Pujara and in the bowling Ashok Dinda and Rahul Sharma. RP Singh was also named in the squad initially but he pulled out because of an injury to make way for the impressive Parvinder Awana, who had a great time with the Kings XI Punjab in IPL 5.

Cheteshwar Pujara to lead India AWest Indies A on the other side has leggie Devendra Bishoo, Lendl Simmons and Kraigg Brathwaithe as some of the well known players in its squad for the 1st Test. The West Indies A team will be led by Veersammy Permaul from Guyana.
