LSG are in the third position in the IPL 2022 points table, having won four of their six matches. In their previous match, they got the better of the struggling Mumbai Indians (MI) by 18 runs. As for RCB, they are fourth in the points table and have also won four out of their six games. Only the net run rate separates the two teams. In their previous clash, they defeated the Delhi Capitals (DC) by 16 runs.
Lucknow were led brilliantly by KL Rahul in the match against Mumbai. He smashed a hundred in his 100th IPL game to sink the bottom-placed side. Manish Pandey scored 38 and looked to be hitting some form, so LSG would be happy about that too. They would expect better consistency from Quinton de Kock though.
In the bowling, Avesh Khan was brilliant with figures of 3 for 30 in the last match. Jason Holder and Ravi Bishnoi were economical. Dushmantha Chameera proved expensive, so that might be a concern.
LSG Predicted XI: KL Rahul (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Ayush Badoni, Jason Holder, Krunal Pandya, Dushmantha Chameera, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi
Speaking about RCB, it was that man Dinesh Karthik again who led their victory march. Bangalore had slipped to 92 for 5 before Karthik’s blazing knock rescued them. Glenn Maxwell also got a fifty, but Bangalore would want the top three of Faf du Plessis, Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli to fire.
Among the bowlers, Mohammed Siraj found some much-needed form with the wickets of Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw against Delhi. Josh Hazlewood was brilliant with his three-for even though Wanindu Hasaranga and Harshal Patel had rare off-days.
RCB Predicted XI: Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Suyash Prabhudessai, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj
