It took just the 19.4 overs for South Africa to wrap up a huge innings and 193 runs on the fourth day morning of the Second and final Test at the St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth. With this the Kiwis under a new Skipper Brendon McCullum have been cleanswept in the 2-match Test Series with innings defeats.

The Kiwis resumed Day 4 at 157 for 4 staring at a big deficit. The overnight partnership between Dean Brownlie and BJ Watling couldn’t prolong its good work and was broken early by Jacques Kallis. Brownlie fell for 53 (from 141 balls) caught behind by the keeper to a full delivery from Kallis. After the early breakthrough, it was clean up job from Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn with the second new ball.

The only consolation for the Kiwis was BJ Watling scoring a second fifty of the match, the wicket keeper batsman scored 63 (from 117 balls with 11 fours) before he was bowled by Steyn. The Kiwis who were bowled out for 121 in their first innings did only slightly better in their second innings with a total of 211 in 86.4 overs. Fast bowler Dale Steyn picked the Man of the Match with overall figures of 8 for just 65 runs!
