A heroic unbeaten knock of 89 from AB de Villiers single handedly took Royal Challengers Bangalore to a 4-wicket win with a ball to spare over the Sunrisers Hyderabad. De Villiers smashed 6 fours and as many as 8 sixes in his 41-ball blinder to power RCB to an unlikely win from a position of 95 for 5 in the 15th over chasing a target of 156.

This was RCB’s first match of IPL 7 at their home ground the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore and it has started off with a tremendous win from a position of defeat.

Earlier in the evening, Sunrisers Hyderabad worked hard to reach 155 for 6. David Warner was the top scorer with 61 from 49 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan scored a slow 37 from 36 balls.

Toss and Teams: Royal Challengers Bangalore have won the toss and asked Sunrisers Hyderabad to bat first in Match 24 of IPL 7 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. For SRH, Ishant Sharma has replaced Amit Mishra. RCB make two changes with Rilee Rossouw and Harshal Patel replacing Albie Morkel and Yogesh Takawale.
