A full day’s play at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday saw the Kiwis taking control of the Second Test through a solid batting performance. After two rain-affected days, the Test match moved forward in New Zealand’s favour with the tourists piling up a total of 419 for 8.
Hardly 54 overs were possible on the second day’s play at Mirpur in the Second Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand. The match has moved forward though with New Zealand at 107 for 3 having bowled out the homeside for 282.
Rain gave an abrupt end to an exciting first day’s play of the Second and Final Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Bangladesh were 228 for 5 in 54.4 overs when rain settled down in the afternoon.
Bangladesh may not have tasted a great amount of success in Test cricket ever since their entry in 2000. But, over the last few years, they have definitely begun to make an impression, at least at home.
