Overnight batsmen AnustupMajumdar with 111 (from 238 balls with 16 fours) and India discard LaxmiRatanShukla with 99 (from 153 balls with 11 fours) helped Bengal take a sizeable first innings lead. For the hosts, left-arm medium pacer Gagandeep Singh claimed career-best figures of 6 for 94.
