New Zealand have named a 12-man squad for the first two One-Day Internationals against Pakistan, leaving out Kyle Mills, Kane Williamson and Luke Woodcock from the 15-man World Cup squad.

New Zealand have named a 12-man squad for the first two One-Day Internationals against Pakistan, leaving out Kyle Mills, Kane Williamson and Luke Woodcock from the 15-man World Cup squad.

The first two matches in the series take place on 22nd and 26th January in Wellington and Queenstown respectively.

Pakistan will be aiming to bounce back from the disappointments of losing the two-match Test series 1-0 and being beaten 5-0 in an ODI series in India.

The series will be both sides' last before the 2011 World Cup gets underway in February.
