A day after insisting that former captain ShoaibMalik would not accompany the Pakistan team immediately to Zimbabwe, the cricket Board here on Sunday did a U-turn and announced his inclusion in the full squad.
In its announcement on Sunday, the board said that Malik had been included in the Zimbabwe-bound squad after consultations between the national selection committee and team management and would join the last day of the training camp in Lahore on Sunday.
"Since his name was already in the list of reserve players for the tour and the PCB integrity committee has cleared him to play he was a certain selection," chief selector Mohsin Khan said.
