A couple of fours by Mohammad Kaif off Steve Smith is good enough to take the Royal Challengers Bangalore into the finals. They now await the winner of the second semi-final between Mumbai Indians and Somerset, which will take place on Saturday.

18th over:

ViratKohli well and truly comes to the party, hitting a six and two fours off left arm pacer Mitchell Starc. The RCB score progresses to 196/4 as 16 runs come from the over.

16th over:

New South Wales get the wicket of MayankAgarwal and concede only 12 runs come off the last two overs. The score at the end of the over is 174/4.

14th over:

After 13 runs came of the 13th over, an interesting sequence of events take place in the next one. Gayle's innings comes to an end after he smacks Patrick Cummins for a six and a four on the third and fourth ball. And off the very next ball new man SaurabhTiwary is yorked by Cummins. Gayle was out after a blistering knock of 92 off 41 balls, an innings which included eight fours and as many sixes.

12th over:

ViratKohli brings up his fifty as 13 runs come from the over. However, Kohli could have been back in the hut had Cummins not dropped a sitter on the sweeper cover boundary.

11th over:

A six each to Gayle and Kohli as 15 runs come from the over after a bit of a lull in the last few overs.

7th over:

A 16 run over followed by a 17 runs over, the Blues don't seem to have any answers at the moment for the Gayle, Kohli show. It's 88/1 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

5th over:

Cummins is taken to the cleaners by Gayle. The Jamaican smashes two sixes and a four and Kohli also joins in the fun with a boundary. NSW concede 22 runs from the over as RCB take their total to 55/1.

4th over:

Eleven runs come from the over as Stuart Clark is hit for a for and a six by Chris Gayle. It's 33/1 at the end of the over.

3rd over:

Dilshan fails to clear the infield and is out for four as Bangalore lose their first wicket for 22.Henriques takes the catch off the bowling of Cummins.

New South Wales Blues Innings:

20th over:

Six, four, four, six! Warner finishes with an unbeaten 123 as NSW score 23 runs off the last over.

19th over:

Take a bow David Warner! The NSW opener brings up back to back hundreds. After Chennai Super Kings, it's now RCB who feel the heat.

18th over:

Only five runs come from the over, but more importantly for RCB, Aravind knocks over the middle stump of Smith who made 62 off 42 balls.

17th over:

Sixteen runs come from the over, after 25 came off the last two overs. The New South Wales Blues gallop along to 163/1.

15th over:

A couple of sixers, one by Warner and the other by Smith take NSW's total to 137/1 at the end of the over.

12th over:

Wow! What an over. Twenty runs come off it as three fours and a six are hammered by the NSW combination of Warner and Smith. The team from Australia take their score to 106/1.

11th over:

Ten runs come from the over after Smith hits Bhatkal for a six off the very first ball.

8th over:Dilshan finishes with the most economical figures ever by a RCB bowler, 1/10 in his 4 overs. Chris Gayle comes on next, and is smashed for a four by Smith (19*) and a six by Warner (40*). NSW are already 65/1 and Warner's form will be worrying the home side.

6th over:Dilshan has bowled a brilliant spell here, conceding just 6 runs in his 3 overs, besides having picked up Watson. However, skipper Vettori gets the treatment as he comes on in the 6th over, including a huge six by Warner, who has raced away to 30 off 23 balls. Smith is 11*, NSW are 47/1.

4th over: The wicket has made no difference to Warner, though. The Australian, who scored an unbeaten 135 in the previous game against CSK, is displaying similar ominous intent here. Warner (22*) smashes a four and a six, while Daniel Smith (5*) gets off the mark with a boundary, as NSW power on to 33/1. Another expensive over from Nannes, this time costing 16 runs.

3rd over:Dilshan gets the early breakthrough for RCB! Shane Watson's attempted pull is caught by Mohammed Kaif, who is only in the side because of an injury to Syed Mohammad. So Watson goes for 3 and NSW are 17/1.

2nd over: One bowler short, Bangalore begin with the part-time spin of TillakaratneDilshan, and he succeeds in keeping the NSW openers quiet, conceding just 2 runs in the first over. David Warner gets two boundaries in the second over though, and 13 runs come off that over from Dirk Nannes, including two wides. NSW are 15/0.

Toss: After a roller-coaster ride into the knockout stages of the Champions League Twenty20 for Royal Challengers Bangalore and New South Wales Blues, the two sides meet in Bangalore on Friday in the first semi-final. And RCB skipper Daniel Vettori has won the toss and elected to bowl first.
