The Second and Final Test at Abu Dhabi ended in a draw with the bowlers struggling to get the wickets.

The Second and Final Test at Abu Dhabi ended in a draw with the bowlers struggling to get the wickets. Pakistan held its second innings solidly for 67 overs before at 153 for 3 before it was decided that there wasn't much in the match. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq led the resistance with an unbeaten 58 from 140 balls in the company of Azhar Ali who batted out 135 balls for his unbeaten 28.

This was after Pakistan were set a target of 354 following South Africa's second innings declaration at 203 for 5. Pakistan in their first innings were bowled out for an impressive 434 in reply to SA's huge first innings total of 584 for 9 declared. It was the same pair of Azhar Ali (90) and Misbah-ul-Haq (77) coming good then. There were also fighting fifties coming in from debutant Asad Shafiq (61) and left arm spinner Abdr Rehman (60). Dale Steyn was impressive for the Proteas with 4 for 98 in 30 overs though he went wicketless in the second innings.

The 2-Test Series was drawn 0-0. The Man of the Match went to AB de Villiers for his first innings knock of 278* while Jacques Kallis got the Player of the Series.
