IPL 6: Wasim Akram, who has been the bowling coach and mentor will not be available for the upcoming season as he wishes to spend more time with his family.

Former Pakistan legendary pacer, Wasim Akram has made it clear that he would not be associated with the IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders for the sixth edition of IPL citing personal reasons.

Trevor Penney has been appointed as the fielding coach and will join the support staff under head coach Trevor Bayliss.

Wasim Akram played 104 Tests and 356 ODIs, Wasim Akram will be missed by the players of KKR and the team management as his experience counts a lot.
