England finally have ended the tour to India on a positive note and gained some pride by registering an impressive six-wicket win in the one-off twenty20 international at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday.

Kevin Pietersen (53 off 39 balls) led the way as England chased down a 121 run target in 18.4 overs. The good bowling performance by the team finally managed to be a silver lining in the dismal performance, having lost the ODI series to India 0-5, despite being the No.1T20 side in the world.

From the Indian side, the partial relief came in the form of RavindraJadeja(1-9), who was able to rein in the English side, having Pietersen in a graceful form as he threatened pacers on a sluggish wicket. Another breather came from YusufPathan, who pitched in with 34 in three overs.

Uthappa fenced at a shortish delivery from Bresnan and edged it to the right of Kieswetter. Not at all a good comeback for Uthappa.

Steve Finn struck with the fourth ball as opener AjinkyaRahane departs for zero. Kieswetter dived to his right to took a superb one-handed catch.

India win toss select bat first

India are not playing Varun Aaron and GautamGambhir from the fifth ODI. Gambhir got married over the weekend so has better uses for his time at the moment. Robin Uthappa gets an international game for the first time since 2008, and YusufPathan, who's been sidelined from the ODI squad since the tour of West Indies, also gets a chance.

Uthappa will open with AjinkyaRahane.

England will open their batting with Alex Hales. Swann said with a grin that Hales plays for the best county in England. He would of course, since it's Nottinghamshire.

Eden Gardens is only a quarter full according to Ganguly, so there are thousands and thousands of empty seats at the moment, waiting to be warmed.
