England took the 2-0 lead after another successful run chase, this time overhauling Australia's target of 239 by 4 wickets and 28 balls to spare in the Second ODI at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.

England took the 2-0 lead after another successful run chase, this time overhauling Australia's target of 239 by 4 wickets and 28 balls to spare in the Second ODI at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. It was an all-round batting performance for the hosts with contributions coming in from Skipper Andrew Strauss (51), Eoin Morgan (52) and Paul Collingwood (48) to name a few. The match was nicely set up by a superb four wicket haul from Stuart Broad which was instrumental in restricting the visitors to 239 for 7. This was despite a couple of good knocks from opener Shane Watson (57) and Cameron White who remained unbeaten on 86 (from 98 balls). The Aussie innings was in tatters at 118 for 5 in the 30th over before Cameron White stitched an 84-run partnership with Steven Smith (41).
