MS Dhoni gets the Man of the Match for his unbeaten century.
The remaining four matches of this tournament will start 30 minutes early in view of the dew. That is not going to make much of a difference honestly but that is what we have. So dew will continue to create problems for the bowlers and the lesson learnt today is - Win the Toss and bowl first under dry conditions!
It was just matter of watching out 10 overs and then batting has been very easy because of the dew conditions. Virat Kohli batted in a matured fashion and MS Dhoni played the sheet anchor role to put up a big 150-run stand for the 4th wicket. Dhoni stayed right till the end and with Suresh Raina finished the match with ease. India didn't feel any pressure at all during the last 10 overs or so!
Well for starters it was a shocking decision from Bangladesh to take the risk of bowling under the lights! They no doubt batted superbly to get to the near 300 total and then had India in a shaky position of three down.
India win by 6 wickets with 15 balls to spare.
Over 47.3: Boundary! Syed Rasel to S Raina, pitched up delivery, makes room and lofts it inside out over covers and the ball just seems to have bounces inside the ropes for a boundary. That brings up Raina's 50 and also wraps up this match!
Over 47.2: Single. Syed Rasel to M S Dhoni, good length delivery, flicks the slower one to squareleg and steals a single. 4 from 16
Over 47.1: Boundary! Syed Rasel to M S Dhoni, full toss, flicks it off his pads fine of short fine leg for a boundary which brings up his 7th ODI hundred!
End of Over 47
Over 46.6: Sixer! Rubel Hossain to S Raina, bangs it short, takes it on with a pull shot and the ball sails pretty flat over backward squareleg for a six! India needs 9 runs to win from 18 balls.
Over 46.5: Two runs. Rubel Hossain to S Raina, good length delivery, whacks it across to deep wide mid wicket and the fielder does well to stop the boundary. 15 from 19
Over 46.4: Two runs. Rubel Hossain to S Raina, bouncer, hooks it in the air and the ball lands safely at deep backward squareleg, two more for Raina. 17 from 20
Over 46.3: Single. Rubel Hossain to M S Dhoni, full toss, drills the near yorker hard back to the bowler who can only half stop that. 19 from 21
Over 46.2: Single. Rubel Hossain to S Raina, full toss, mistimes his straight drive but gets a single for that. 20 from 22
Over 46.1: No runs. Rubel Hossain to S Raina, pitched up delivery, flicks the near yorker to mid wicket. 21 from 23.
Over 45.6: No runs. Shakib Al Hasan to M S Dhoni, quicker and flatter in the air, deflects it to short fine leg. India needs 21 runs to win from 24 balls.
