MS Dhoni: Thought that the pitch would flatten out and help the batsmen but I was wrong and it was good with our spinners dominating them. We had to bat first after winning the toss and it was important for the set batsmen to carry on. Me and Raina thought that we should get 240 and after that we got the extra runs. To go and play in my home city in Ranchi in the next ODI will be special to me. The Kochi crowd was simply superb and their support really matters. This pitch is perfect for Test Cricket. |

Alastair Cook: The last 10 overs (with India scoring 100+) cost us the game. 240 or something like that is chaseable on this pitch. Finn bowled really well and Woakes was unlucky, the pitch dried out after we have taken the early wickets. Full credit to India but the important thing is it is still 1-1 with plenty to play for in the series. |
