Devendra Bishoo struck twice to help dismiss Bangladesh for 231 on the third day of the second test on Monday.

Leg-spinner DevendraBishoo grabbed 5-90 as the West Indies trounced Bangladesh by 229 runs in the second and final Test in Dhaka on Wednesday to wrap up the series 1-0.

Bangladesh, who were set an improbable victory target of 508 runs, were shot out for 278 soon after lunch on the fifth day at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium.

Bishoo, the Guyanese bowler who turns 26 on Sunday, returned with career-best figures in only his seventh Test and skipper Darren Sammy chipped in with 2-19 to rout the hosts.

West Indies were 207 for three wickets in their second innings at stumps on the third day of the second test against Bangladesh on Monday.

Darren Bravo hit his first international century while Kirk Edwards missed his second of the match as West Indies tightened their grip over Bangladesh.

West Indies now lead by 331 runs with Bravo (100 not out) and nightwatchmanKemar Roach (four not out) at the crease.

Kirk Edwards and Darren Bravo brought up unbeaten half centuries to help the West Indies to 133-2 at tea on Monday and a fast growing 257-run lead in the second and final Test against Bangladesh.

Edwards reached his 59 off 126 balls with five boundaries and one six, while Bravo's 59 came from 86 balls with four boundaries and two sixes.

The visitors, 355 all out in the first innings, were leading by 151 runs at the lunch break with Kieran Powell (12) and Kirk Edwards (14) at the crease.

KraiggBrathwaite was the only batsman dismissed when he was run out after Naeem Islam hit the stumps with a direct throw before West Indies could open their account in the second innings.

Bangladesh, resuming on 204 for seven wickets, could add only 27 runs in 17 overs before they lost their remaining three wickets to the West Indies spinners.

Bishoo deceived overnight batsman SuhrawadiShuvo (15) with a flighted delivery to give West Indies their first success of the morning with Brathwaite taking the catch at forward short-leg.

The dismissal exposed the Bangladesh tail, prompting overnight batsman NasirHossain (42) to go for a slog sweep against Marlon Samuels that found Edwards at deep midwicket.

Bishoo, who eventually finished with three for 62, bowled ShahadatHossain (4) to give West Indies a 124-run first innings lead.
