Under-fire Umesh Yadav has found backing from his pace partner Jasprit Bumrah, who said that death overs bowling is not easy and things go wrong sometimes. This was after Yadav conceded 14 runs in the last over as Australia won the 1st T20 at Vizag off the last ball.

“You try your best, and you're clear in your execution. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. Nothing to be worried. We wanted to close the game in our favor but it's okay," Bumrah, who finished with splendid figures of 3 for 16 said in a Times Now report.

On what went wrong for India, Bumrah felt they took some time figuring out what a good total was and it made a difference in the end.

"It's a little different once you know your target. It was a small target, so once you hit one boundary then you don't need to take a lot of risks. At first, we are still figuring out what is the safe total so I think that was a difference maybe. They were rotating the strikes after hitting a boundary," Bumrah added.

Apart from Lokesh Rahul’s 50, only Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni reached the 20s while the rest of the batting line-up struggled. Australia now heads into the 2nd T20 knowing they cannot lose.
