West Indies will certainly challenge hosts Sri Lanka in tomorrow’s Final of the ICC World T20 2012. Sri Lanka might be packed with good spinners and pacers but against a power-hitting West Indies team, things may not be that easy as it was against the other teams.
West Indies would heavily depend on Chris Gayle and if the big man bats for a significant time in any game, the opposition more often than not gets doomed. Australia faced the brunt of Chris Gayle’s monstrous hitting in the Semi Final with the opening batsman playing out all the 20 overs to score an unbeaten 75 from 41 balls. The result was West Indies raking up an enormous total of 205.
