Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly was all praise for pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Ashish Nehra following India's narrow victory over England in the second T20 on Sunday. Bumrah gave away only two runs while claiming two wickets, as India successfully defended 145.
England defeated India comprehensively by seven wickets in the first of the three match T20 series at Green Park, Kanpur. Putting India in after winning the toss, England restricted the hosts to 147 for 7.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli has captained both Yuzvendra Chahal and Parveez Rasool in the Indian Premier League. As such, he is hopeful of the spin duo coming good in the three-match T20 series starring on Thursday.
After a high-scoring one-day series, India and England will now battle it out in the T20s, with the first T20 to be played at Republic Day at Green Park in Kanpur. India won the series 2-1, mainly on the strength of their batting.
