West Indies made a 2-0 cleansweep over an injury struck New Zealand in the T20I Series in Florida on Sunday. Windies crushed the Kiwis by a huge margin of 61 runs in the 2nd T20I at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill.

West Indies made a 2-0 cleansweep over an injury struck New Zealand in the T20I Series in Florida on Sunday. Windies crushed the Kiwis by a huge margin of 61 runs in the 2nd T20I at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill. New Zealand was led by young Kane Williamson following the shoulder injury to Ross Taylor in the 1st T20I.

Batting first after winning the toss, West Indies powered by a knock of 53 (from 39 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes) got to a total of 177 for 5. Dwayne Bravo took care of the final overs with a cameo of 35* (from 11 balls with a four and 4 sixes). Kyle Mills with 4-1-20-0 and Nathan McCullum with 3-0-19-2 bowled extremely well for the Black Caps.

Sunil NarineNew Zealand were pathetic in their run chase especially after slipping to 43 for 5 in the 9th over. Eventually, the Kiwis were bundled out for just 116 in 18.4 overs. Sunil Narine with 4 for 12 in 4 overs, Dwayne Bravo and Marlon Samuels with two wickets each bowled Windies to the big win.

Sunil Narine got the Man of the Match award while Chris Gayle was named as the Player of the Series.
