The ECB launched the Women's Hundred in 2021. The new format 100 ball cricket tournament proved a success with fans and players alike and we are all set for another round starting on August 11, 2022.

While you wait for the Women's Hundred competition to get underway, we have compiled a list of 5 players to look out for in Women's Hundred 2022 and with all the sport betting going on before the tournament, you can get a quick preview of the players that should perform well.

1. Smiriti Mandhana (Southern Brave):

The left handed batter from India has performed invariably well in the T20 leagues around the world. The ease with which she adjusts to a new team environment and the pitches abroad is nothing short of excellence. Smriti Mandhana is known name in Women's cricket and has great following in her country and overseas. Her performance in the Big Bash League 2021 was thoroughly enjoyed down under. Based on her current form and her record on overseas pitches, Smriti Mandhana is definitely one player to look forward to in Women's Hundred 2022.

Smiriti has been retained by Southern Brave after he unforgettable run in the last year's Women's Hundred competition. She had scored 167 runs in 7 games at an average of 27.83 and a strike rate of 133.60. If her bat flows the way it did in the last season of Women's Hundred competition, Southern Brave will be a tough force to beat.

2. Deandra Dottin (Manchester Originals):

Deandra Dottin is one of the most destructive batters in Women's cricket currently. She opens the batting for West Indies national team and is capable of getting her team to phenomenal starts. She is in great form in the recent times. Her performance in the Fairbreak Invitational T20 was widely regarded by fans and cricket lovers from around the world.

Deandra Dottin played for London Spirit in the last edition of Women's Hundred competition. However, she has been drafted to play for Manchester Originals in the upcoming Women's Hundred 2022.

In the last edition, Deandra Dottin scored 146 runs in 8 matches at an average of 20.85 and a strike rate of 117.74. Although these numbers aren't enough, they don't do justice to the kind of form she is in currently. She will definitely be one player to look out for in Women's Hundred 2022.

3. Lizelle Lee (Manchester Originals):

Lizelle Lee is one of the most powerful strikers of the cricket ball in Women's cricket. She shocked her fans all around the world when she retired from the International arena after the completion of the Test Series against England. A few experts cite her inability to get a NOC to play in Women's Hundred competition behind her early retirement. With all said, she must be pumped to perform in the upcoming tournament.

In the last year's edition of Women's Hundred competition, Lizelle Lee scored 215 runs in just 7 matches at a healthy average of 43.00 and a strike rate of 124.27. 4. Danni Wyatt (Southern Brave):

Dani Wyatt is one of the most improved players in England Cricket in recent times. She opens the batting for the England Women's Cricket team and is vested with the responsibility of taking her team off to a flier. She has performed superbly in the recently concluded 3 match T20I series against South Africa. Prior to that, Wyatt went through a purple patch in the Fairbreak Invitational T20 tournament where she played some match-winning knocks for Falcons.

In the last edition of Women's Hundred competition, Dani Wyatt scored 208 runs in 9 matches at a briliant average of 26.00 and a strike rate of 129.19. She has been retained by Southern Brave for the upcoming season of Women's Hundred 2022 and she will be one player to look out for in the tournament.

5. Alana King (Trent Rockets):

The 26 year old leg spin bowler for Australia will represent Trent Rockets in the upcoming season of Women's Hundred competition. In her short career of 12 Women ODI's and 6 T20I's, she has impressed cricket lovers around the world with her cricketing brains.

Alana King performed superbly in the Big Bash League 2021 and based on her performance, she got a maiden call up into the Australian Women's national team.

Alana King is in terrific form in the recent times. She bowled beautifully in the recently concluded Women's Tri Series in Ireland. Alana King not only picks up wickets at regular intervals but also keeps the batters quiet with her guile and accuracy with the ball.

She didn't play in the last edition of Women's Hundred competition but Trent Rockets were quick enough to draft her into the team for the Women's Hundred 2022. She is definitely one of the players to look out for in Women's Hundred 2022.
