Bangalore captain Virat Kohli was livid after ICC Elite Panel Umpire S Ravi missed a no-ball by Mumbai Indians' Lasith Malinga off the last ball of the innings.

RCB needed seven off the last ball bowled by Malinga. The batsman Shivam Dube managed only one. However, the replays clearly showed that Malinga had overstepped, something which the umpire completely missed.

"We are playing at the IPL level. It's not club level, the umpires should have their eyes open. That was a big no-ball," an angry Kohli said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

The missed no ball left AB de Villiers stranded on an unbeaten 70. Kohli, however, was all praise for Jasprit Bumrah in the review of the match..

"We should have done a better job with the ball after they were seven down. The last few overs were brutal for us. Bit of a mistake from me to take Bumrah on at that time. Bumrah makes a hell of a difference in any team," the RCB captain admitted

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma also backed Kohli on the poor umpiring in the game. "Honestly, I just go to know after crossing the rope that it was a no-ball. These kind of mistakes aren't good for the game."

Mumbai defended a total of 187 thanks to a stunning spell of 3-20 from Jasprit Bumrah.
