As the Indian Premier League 8 heads towards the playoff stage, we look at players who have lit up the tournament with their excellent performances, and some big names who haven’t quite lived up to the expectations.

Flop performers

Yuvraj Singh: A lot was expected of him from Delhi Daredevils. He has managed 205 runs at a disappointing strike rate of 117. With two half-centuries to his name, he has averaged only 18.6.
