Hosts Kings XI Punjab crushed Delhi Daredevils by 7 wickets with as many as 6.1 overs to spare at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.

Asked to bat first after losing the toss, Delhi Daredevils were bowled out cheaply for 115 in 18.1 overs. Except Skipper Kevin Pietersen, none of the Delhi batsmen contributed anything significant. Pietersen scored 58 from 41 balls with 9 fours.

For Kings XI Punjab, Parvinder Awana, Akshar Patel, Mitchell Johnson and Karanveer Singh took a couple of wickets each.

In the run chase, despite the early loss of Sehwag and Maxwell, Kings XI Punjab eased to the target of 116 with opener Manan Vohra scoring 47 from 38 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. David Miller along with Vohra sealed the game with a 96-run stand for the 3rd wicket. Miller scored 47 not out from 34 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes.
