Bollywood stars Farhan Akhtar, Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Pritam and Hrithik Roshan are all set to light up the stage at the 2015 Indian Premier League (IPL) Opening Ceremony at the Salt Lake Stadium here on Tuesday.
Anushka is the girlfriend of India’s Test captain Virat Kohli, who will also lead the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The opening ceremony is going to start today at 7.30 PM IST at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. Bollywood biggest star is participating in IPL 8 opening ceremony to make this event more memorable. The Bollywood star who is participating in this event is Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Saif Ali Kahn, Hrithik Roshan and Pritam. Saif Ali Kan will host the show and Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan will give their magnetic dance performance. Pritam will also do a musical concert today.
According to weather forecast, Kolkata will see some rain today but the official told that they will still manage to give grad opening ceremony. Salt Lake Stadium is an open ground so rain will be the biggest challenge for the organising committee because even an hour of rain can make it difficult for the performer of IPL 8 opening ceremony.
