Sri Lanka have today announced a 15-man squad for the First Test against Pakistan to be played at Galle from the 22nd of this month. Following their superb performances in the just concluded ODI Series, Thisara Perera and Nuwan Kulasekara have been included in the Test Squad.
Also making it to the Test team is leg-spinning all-rounder Jeevan Mendis and left arm pacer Chanaka Welegedera. Another fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep has also been included. Missing out from the test team is the pace trio of Suranga Lakmal, Dhammika Prasad and Shaminda Eranga along with the left-handed Lahiru Thirimanne.
