Zimbabwe were crushed by 82 runs in the opening match of the ICC World T20 2012 against Sri Lanka at Hambantota. The Zimbabweans put in a poor show in all the three departments of the game. With the ball, they conceded 182 runs. And then with the bat, had no clue at all facing the variations of Ajantha Mendis. Even leg spinner Jeevan Mendis troubled them with his googly and in the end, Zimbabwe were bundled out for just 100.
