Cricket News sort by Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Former India captain and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni has revealed the reason behind his preference for the No.7 jersey. Dhoni wore the No.7 on his back right through his international career and has been doing the same for CSK as well in the Indian Premier League (IPL)

Virat Kohli-led Team India were battered in the first ODI of three-match series against Australia at Sydney. Batting first, the Aussies posted an imposing 374 on the board with tons from skipper Aaron Finch and Steve Smith. India’s much-famed bowling line-up came a cropper with Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal and Navdeep Saini going for plenty, and only Mohammed Shami making an impact with his three wickets.

More than a week after he announced his international retirement, the tributes for former India captain and legend MS Dhoni refuse to end. Kings XI Punjab captain and dashing Indian batsman KL Rahul is the latest to join the list. In a video released by Indian Premier League (IPL), Rahul has termed Dhoni as a hero for people like him who came from small towns.

It has been a few days since MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket. However, the praises haven't stopped coming in. Now, Dhoni's first captain Sourav Ganguly has also come out in praise of the retired wicket-keeper batsman.
