South Australia clinched a five-wicket win over Mumbai Indians with three balls to finish in an exciting run chase at Kingsmead in Durban. Set a difficult target of 181, South Australia got off to a magnificent opening stand of 112 in 13.3 overs from Daniel Harris (56 from 37 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes) and Skipper Michael Klinger (50 from 48 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes). Once these openers were out, Mumbai Indians clawed their way back into the game but only to spray easy full tosses towards the end to mess up things.
Earlier in the match, Mumbai Indians winning the toss and batting first had put up an impressive 180 for 7 despite struggling at 79 for 4 in 12.1 overs! Left handed Saurabh Tiwary changed the complexion of the match with a superb 44 from 25 balls (which included 4 sixes) while Kieron Pollard gave the final touches with his power-filled 36 from 21 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes.
