The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will meet the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match number 22 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday. CSK are languishing at the bottom of the points table, having lost all four of their matches so far.

In their previous game, they were hammered by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by eight wickets. RCB are in the third position in the points table, having won three matches in a row. In their previous clash, they got the better of the Mumbai Indians (MI) by seven wickets. Bangalore will go into the clash against Chennai with the upper hand.

CSK were below par with both bat and ball against SRH. They managed only 154 for 7 batting first, with Moeen Ali top-scoring with 48. With the ball, they could not make any kind of impression as Abhishek Sharma eased his way to 75.

There are a lot of worries for Chennai in both the batting and bowling department. Ruturaj Gaikwad has hardly scored a run in the tournament while Robin Uthappa’s form has fizzled out after a good start. Ambati Rayudu and Ravindra Jadeja have also failed while Shivam Dube is the only one who has done a good job with the bat.

In the bowling, they really do not have much quality apart from Dwayne Bravo. CSK will be hoping for the likes of Chris Jordan and Maheesh Theekshana to deliver so that they can keep the opposition batters in check.

CSK Predicted XI: Robin Uthappa, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja (c), Shivam Dube, MS Dhoni (wk), Dwayne Bravo, Chris Jordan, Maheesh Theekshana, Rajvardhan Hangargekar

For RCB, Anuj Rawat excelled in the bat in the last game with a fine fifty while Virat Kohli also looked in good touch. Dinesh Karthik has been brilliant in the finishing role although he wasn’t needed in the last game.

Bangalore have a strong bowling attacking with Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Akash Deep. It remains to be seen whether Harshal will play this match following a personal tragedy. Mohammed Siraj has been expensive, so he will have to lift his game.

RCB Predicted XI: Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Josh Hazlewood, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj

Top fantasy picks for CSK vs RCB clash: Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube, Dwayne Bravo, Anuj Rawat, Glenn Maxwell, Wanindu Hasaranga
