While Tendulkar dropped a couple of places to fourth position, VVSLaxman was pushed down to seventh place with an aggregate of 771 points. VirenderSehwag, who missed the Lord's Test due to an injury, has dropped to the 10th spot.

In the bowlers list, Zaheer Khan who was forced out of action during the first innings of the Lord's Test with a strained hamstring, lies at fifth spot while Harbhajan Singh slipped four places to join Stuart Broad in joint 11th place.

Board also moved to fifth place in the all-rounders ranking table following an unbeaten 74-run knock against India in the second innings at Lord's apart from claiming a match haul of seven wickets on Monday.

South Africa's Dale Steyn retained the number one slot while James Anderson of England moved ahead to second place with a total of 800 rating points followed by compatriot Graeme Swann.

Jacques Kallis, meanwhile, continued to dominate the batting chart followed by England's Jonathan Trott and Sri Lankas Kumar Sangakkara.

Trott, who scored an impressive half century during the first innings of the Lord's Test, leap-frogged the former Lankan captain to swap positions with Tendulkar.

An unbeaten double century against India helped Kevin Pietersen to climb 14 places to joint 15th in the rankings alongside RahulDravid, who rose seven places following his unbeaten first innings ton.
