Sri Lanka collected an easy win over minnows Netherlands at Chittagong. The minnows asked to bat first after losing the toss were bundled out for 39, the lowest ever T20I total. The Lankans took five overs to wrap up the chase losing the wicket of Kusal Perera.

It was an embarrassing match for the ICC as the match hardly lasted a little over an hour! Netherlands were bowled out in 10.3 overs. Sri Lanka Captain Angelo Mathews picked up three wickets bowling with the new ball. Nuwan Kulasekara with his banana inswingers took a wicket in the third ball of the match and his two overs were maidens.

Lasith Malinga collected a couple of wickets while Ajantha Mendis’ mystery bowling accounted for three wickets.
