Aakash Chopra (142 from 450 balls with 9 fours and a six) and Wicket Keeper Dishant Yadav (101 from 243 balls with 10 fours) scored centuries to help Rajasthan to a healthy first innings total of 421.

Madhya Pradesh Vs Mumbai at Indore : Mumbai’s no.3 Kaustubh Pawar scored a superb 160 not out (from 322 balls with 19 fours) to help his side recover from an overnight score of 70 for 5 to 346 for 7 by the close of play on Day 2. The 21-year-old Kaustubh Pawar got able support from Mumbai’s lower order. Ankeet Chavan coming in at no.9 remained unbeaten with him on 57*. Mumbai are now leading Madhya Pradesh by 154 runs. For the hosts MP, medium pacer TP Sudhindra has picked up four wickets.

Karnataka Vs Haryana at Bangalore : Opener Rahul Dewan scored 101 as Haryana managed to take a crucial lead of 121 runs in their first innings. Haryana were bowled out for 272 after resuming the second day’s play at 120 for no loss. Medium pacers Stuart Binny with four wickets and NC Aiyappa took three wickets for Karnataka.

The hosts Karnataka finished the second day’s play at 122 for 3 with opener Robin Uthappa scoring a quick fire 53 from 46 balls with 6 fours and a six. Karnataka are leading by just the one run with 7 wickets in hand.

Abhinav Mukund scored 95 for Tamil NaduMaharashtra Vs Tamil Nadu at Chennai : India Test discards Abhinav Mukund (95 from 157 balls with 12 fours and a six) and Murali Vijay (79 from 160 balls with 11 fours) put up a massive opening stand of 173 as Tamil Nadu ended Day 2 strongly at 259 for 3. The hosts having bowled out Maharashtra for just 232 earlier in the day are leading by 27 runs. It was a dramatic collapse for Maharashtra as they folded to 232 having resumed the second day’s play at 204 for 4. Medium pacer J Kaushik was the star with the ball for TN taking five wickets.
