Pakistan cricket team will depart for West Indies on Thursday (today). During the tour Pakistan will play a T20, 5 one-day internationals and 2 test matches against Carribean side, starting from 18th April. The training camp of green shirts ended yesterday in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, during which the players practiced bowling, fielding and batting. Captain Shahid Afridi was not present in the training session due to illness. Former captain Javed Miandad gave his special time to Pakistan cricket team in order to improve their batting techniques. Special work has been done on physical training.

Pakistan will initiate their tour on 18th April from a practice match against University of West Indies vice-chancellors. The only Twenty20 game of Pakistan-West Indies series will be played on 21 April. The first and second games of one-day series will be played on 23 and 25 April at St Lucia, third and fourth ODIs at Barbados on 28th April and first May while fifth and last match will be played at Guyana on 5 May. After that the first Test match of Pakistan-West Indies series will be played between 12-16 at Guyana. The second and last Test Match will be played between 20-24 May at St Kitts.
