India vs West Indies 2nd ODI – 8 June 2011
On Wednesday, 8 June 2011 we will have West Indies hosting India for the 2nd of five ODI matches to be played in the series.
India have won the only Twenty20 Intenational and they went on to the defeat West Indies in what was the first of 5 ODI’s to be played in West Indies. India were bowling first in the match and the restricted the Windies to just 214 with harbajhan taking the three wickets while new comer Kumar and Patel took 2 each to make a good bowling performence over all and now they will be taking on West Indies in the 2nd ODI and will be hoping to keep the good run of form going.
Indians youngsters have been given chance by the board by resting some of the bigger names, likes of Tendulkar, Dhoni, Yuvraj, Ghambier and Sehwag while Zaheer Khan is also rested and the captaincy is handed to Suresh Raina who is handeling the pressure very well in the absense of Mahinder Singh Dhoni. It will be interesting to see how there youngsters fair and they are getitng some good playing time which would surely help indian cricket in the long run.
