In a serious blow to Australia’s chances of winning the Commonwealth Bank Series, Skipper Michael Clarke has been almost ruled out of tomorrow’s third and decisive final at the Adelaide Oval. Clarke is also expected to miss out in Australia’s one-day leg of the West Indies tour. Clarke who has been struggling with back spasms had strained his left hamstring during his wonderful knock yesterday at the Adelaide Oval. With Clarke unlikely to play tomorrow, Shane Watson is expected to be Australia’s Captain once again. Clarke has been in and out of the Australian team in the CB Series but has had a great time with the bat scoring a triple century, double century, centuries and half centuries in the last three months or so in Tests and ODIs. His captaincy has also been pretty aggressive which could be badly missed by Australia in tomorrow’s third final.
