Musfiqur Rahim: At the end, the team won, so it is a great feeling now. I think credit also goes to the openers, they didn't get the runs, but upfront it is not that easy. Me and Shakib, we just knew that if we stayed on the wicket, it was good to bat on. We just made a plan to bat till the 45th or 48th over. Thanks to the crowd, they have come all over from Australia and also back home. My father and my uncle are also here. Hopefully, the boys will carry the momentum.

Musfiqur Rahim is the Man of the Match

Mashrafe Morataza: First match is very important and we set the tone. It is very important for me and my team as well. I bowled in the right areas and it was good. We had a reasonable start today, but a collapse at the end. Mushfique and Shakib played really well. These kind of matches always have a lot of pressure, but the boys played well. Thank you to all the supporters as well.

Mohammad Nabi: First 35 overs we bowled well, especially the fast bowlers. We took quick wickets as well. Mushfiqur and Shakib played well and took them above 250. Batting wise, we were 3/3 and it was difficult from there on. The wicket was good for batting if you play in the right manner. Thanks to the supporters. Especially they came in from Melbourne, Sydney to Canberra, they came and supported the team. Also the fans back hom, they watched the game at on TV. So, good support for us
