Misbah: I am happy now, but when we lost wickets in a heap, I was worried. It was an amazing knock from Akmal and he bailed us out. Our batsmen didnt apply themselves on this different pitch, which was turning slowly. It was stopping on the batsmen and we should gauge the pitch while playing. They bowled according to the plan and they made it hard to score runs when we played in UAE also. We just thinked about winning the game, but getting a bonus point is always good. Ajmal, Hafeez and Afridi bowled brilliantly.
Nabi: The boys bowled well initially, but Akmals innings took the match away from us. That dropped catch costed us badly as Akmal is a good batsman. Ajmal bowled a brilliant spell and we had no answer to that. We would like to put up a much improved performance in the next match. |
